Ways to Reset Xfinity Router Password

If you remember the current password of your Xfinity router. Then you can change the password using web interface. Login to your router. Navigate to Wi-Fi settings and create another password. If you don’t remember the current password, here’s another way to reset Xfinity router password. Follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps to reset password:

 Locate the reset button on your router and press it for 10- 15 seconds.

 This will reset the router back to default settings.

 Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 and click enter.

 Login using the default credentials. The username is admin and the password is admin/password.

 Now, you can navigate to settings and click on Wi-Fi network.

 Go to the password option. Create and type a new password. Enter it again to confirm.

 Click ok to save the changes.
